How is the program structured? The National Honor Society for Dance Arts is run on

an institutional basis. This means only students who are enrolled at that school

(studio) may apply for induction.

The vision of this organization is to have all students have equal opportunity and

access to quality dance arts education and are recognized for their outstanding

artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement in the field of dance. To foster

an appreciation for dance as a true art form and one worthy of recognition and

prestige.

students may be eligible to wear the NHSDA honor cord and gold pin during

the graduation ceremony, however, separate approval from the school administration may

Chapter GPA requirement (3.0), they may not be able to wear the honor cords at

graduation.

Graduating with Honors
