Levels & Class Offerings
From first steps to pre-professional training — find the right level and style for every dancer.
Our Dance Levels
Every dancer progresses at their own pace. Here's how our levels are structured to support growth at every stage.
Pre-Beginner
Here we offer classes for enthusiastic dancers who are not yet potty-trained. We begin to explore key principles in classroom behavior, dance education and basic movement. There is an emphasis on fine and gross motor skills and understanding the beginning concepts in the art of dance! Parent participation is required at this level.
Beginner
This level is designed for students with limited to or having no previous experience with dance curriculum. Dancers are exposed to entry level technique, movement and understanding of dance concepts. Dancers learn combinations throughout the year that are to be performed at our annual Recital.
Intermediate
This level is where students with a basic foundation of dance concepts begin to focus on technique. Here students are exposed to more difficult dance concepts, combinations and are further exposed to different dance styles. The curriculum of the intermediate dancer is extensive and sets a strong basis in technique and overall body awareness and articulation. Dancers learn combinations throughout the year that are to be performed at our annual Recital.
Advanced
Dancers who have progressed to the advanced level have mastered the basic skills taught at the beginner and intermediate levels. At this level dancers are dedicated to their dance studies and have put an emphasis on the importance and understanding of technique and performance skills. Here dancers are offered the opportunity to travel and perform around the country and study with guest dance faculty. Dancers learn combinations throughout the year that are to be performed at our annual Recital.
Pre-Professional
